Ares is a rich Shiraz from the Barossa Valley, which is produced in very limited quantities. It boasts seductive aromas of baking spices and vanilla, backed by deep, concentrated fruit. It's broad on the palate but not flabby, the mixed berries and chocolate framed by judicious use of oak. The tannins are ripe and plush, and the berry flavors linger on the finish, turning complex, meaty, and savory in the process.
