It is a vivid red wine with ruby red hues that has fresh red fruit scents like cherries, strawberries, and blackberries along with somewhat spicy aromas like tobacco and licorice in the bouquet. The flavor is very well-balanced, and the texture and tannins are mild. The wine has a sophisticated, lingering aftertaste. Urban Cabernet Franc is great to enjoy with a grilled steak, prefferably from Argentina to pair with its region of origin. It will also go very well with cold cuts such as terrines. With cheese we would recommend to go for soft blue cheese such as bleu d’Auvergne.
