For croissants and puff pastries: heat in a toaster/convection oven at 180°C for 3–5 minutes until flaky. Avoid direct heat. For countertop toasters, turn off power and use residual heat. For other sweets: microwave for 15–20 seconds.
Sourdough bread is leavened without the use of commercial yeast. Instead, it relies on the natural wild yeast from the environment. Sourdough loaves have a tangy, complex flavor profile with hints of acidity and a nutty undertone. It can be used for making sandwiches, toast, or served as a side with various dishes.
