Kaijin Japanese Hamachi Fillet
Premium Sashimi-Grade Hamachi, also called Yellowtail Amberjack, is a popular fish in Japan. It is fatty with a semi-soft texture and a mild, slightly sour taste that pairs well with dry sake and beer.
Product of Japan. Vacuum packed and frozen to ensure freshness. Keep frozen until ready to consume. Store unopened and chill in the refrigerator 30 minutes prior to consumption. Serve at room temperature. Use within 2 days of opening.
Many Japanese dishes use Hamachi. Most of them are raw, but you can also cook them. Enjoy as it is as a Sushi, make it into a Nigiri or Maki. It can also be salt-grilled or seared and served with Japanese rice, pickles, and sauces.
STORAGE:
KEEP FROZEN until ready to consume. To defrost the whole piece, store it in the refrigerator overnight. Keep chilled before consumption. Serve at room temperature. Use within two days of opening.
